Cheap Flights Australia - Barcelona Flights - Are You Really Flying to Barcelona Airport?

If you're replying on air travel then you need to consider things more carefully, while accommodation is fairly straightforward as the main deciding factors will be location in the city and price. If you are planning a trip to Barcelona you need to plan your travel and accommodation.

Which is minutes away, but both the airports it actually goes to are each 100km from the city as opposed to Barcelona Airport itself, which claims to fly to Barcelona, the biggest offender in this respect is Ryanair. The problem with some airlines is that they aren't quite truthful about where they actually fly.

Both trips are around 90 minutes. While this not bother you too much as there are buses that run from Girona Airport to Barcelona city centre and from Reus Airport to Barcelona Sants railway station. The problem is simply that on arrival and departure you'll need to plan an extra stage of your journey.

The situation may soon change as it is rumoured in the local press that Ryanair is planning on taking advantage of the spare capacity in Barcelona Airport's Terminal 2 due to the relocation of many airlines to the new T1 in time for the bust summer season in 2010, however.

Barcelona is surely the more attractive option for Ryanair as long as it can control costs, while there has been no hint of that yet at Girona or Reus. Where that will leave Girona and Reus is anyone's guess as the company has a record of pulling out of airports when it doesn't get its way.
